Welcome to Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney. We are an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing vital programs for families with seriously ill children.
The very first Ronald McDonald House in Australia opened in Camperdown next to the Children’s Hospital in 1981. In 1995, RMHC Greater Western Sydney (GWS) relocated the House to Westmead to continue providing vital services to families after the hospital had relocated to Western Sydney. Today, our Westmead House provides a safe place to stay for around 2,000 families per year.
Through our accommodation and support services, we strive to keep families together when life gets turned upside down due to a child’s illness. Our Houses and Programs are run by a tirelessly hard working team of staff and volunteers, aided by the generous support of our donors and corporate partners.
The Australian Outback Marathon is committed to supporting this amazing initiative and we will be donating $25 in 2025 for every booking we receive, with a goal of raising a minimum of $25,000 every year.

Welcome to Anangu Communities Foundation— a charitable organisation established by Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia to fund projects that make an impact in the areas of health, education, cultural preservation, as well as economic and social participation within Anangu Communities.
Working alongside indigenous communities in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park and the central desert region of Australia, we recognise and acknowledge that Anangu are the traditional custodians and are one of the oldest living cultures in the world. With the vast geographical distances between remote communities and services, it presents a unique set of challenges and complexities, and with your support we can continue to fund Anangu lead projects that will have a meaningful impact, empowering Anangu communities to thrive.
Running through Anangu Country will be an incredible life experience. Considering the riches, you will take away, why not leave a little something behind. Your support can help to elevate educational outcomes for Anangu students, keep community and culture thriving or support quality health outcomes for Anangu.
